Quality of Care You Can Rely On
Fair Acres has a full-time Certified Medical Director who is also a Board-Certified Medical Physician. The on-site Medical Director oversees the medical services provided to the residents and maintains the role of liaison between the physicians and Fair Acres staff. Board Certified Medical and Surgical Specialists are available to attend to the residents if their medical needs warrant.
Internal Medicine and Family Medicine specialists act as attending physicians, providing daily coverage and are available on a 24-hour basis. Residents are seen by the attending physicians at least once monthly and more frequently, if needed. Ophthalmology, dental, dermatology, podiatry, gynecology, neurology, psychiatry and psychology consultants are available on site as these physicians travel to Fair Acres to meet the needs of our residents. Other medical specialists can be seen at their respective offices. Transportation to an outside medical provider is provided through Medical Management when necessary.
Medical Management also offers mobile x-ray and ultrasound services, respiratory therapy, audiology and optical services on site. Hospice services can be arranged through Medical Management and are provided by outside Hospice agencies.
Fair Acres also has a direct relationship with area hospitals.
